Progressive digitalisation is fundamentally changing production processes. Connected machines, smart sensors and digital supply chains create huge opportunities, but at the same time open up new attack areas. Cyber-attacks can cause production stops, data losses and significant economic damage. Particularly producing companies are now increasingly targeted by cyber-criminals.

The five-part workshop series on cybersecurity in production provides you with the right framework to help you secure your production. It takes a holistic approach to cybersecurity enforcement, provides necessary knowledge and exchanges of experience with speakers and participants.

In Module 4, you will find out where the crucial differences between office IT and production IT are and why classic IT solutions fail in production. We also show you how you identify your company’s status quo with regard to technical protection measures and technological approaches developed specifically for the production environment.
