Kevin Baum
Kevin Baum Head of the Centres for European Research in Trusted AI (Certain) at the German Research Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) and member of Algoright e.V., the interdisciplinary think tank for good digitalisation and science communication. As a philosopher and informatics, he has been researching AI ethics for years, in particular on explainability, responsibility and fairness. In the framework of the event awarded to the National University Perle of the Federation of Stifters Ethics for Nerds for many years, he has taught ethics for students in computer science and related courses. Kevin Baum was a member of the Commission for the Ethics of Safety-related Research at the Saar-Uni and the Committee of Inquiry in Digitalisation in Saarland of the Saarland State Parliament and is a member of the Ethics Board of the Saarland Informatics Campus (SIC) and Ethics Adviser to the DFKI Ethics Team.

Thomas Immich is the CEO & owner of Centigrade, one of the leading UX & Gamification Agencies in Germany. For more than 20 years, he has been working on UX Design & Engineering methods, in particular in the field of Generative AI. He accompanies interdisciplinary teams in the integration of Agile and Human Centre Design and has already won many Design Awards together with its clients.

Esther Jacob
In early 2023, Esther Jacob took over the training company Sikos, founded by her father in 1990, in Neunkirchen. As an education provider and certification company, Sikos offers a wide range of vocational training, upskilling and qualification, in particular in the field of artificial intelligence. In addition, the young expert is the chairman of the association ‘Die Jungen Entrepreneur e.V. Saarland’ and the regional economic network WIN as a member of the board. |
